"we were absolutely delighted..."

I am contacting you to let you know that we were absolutely delighted with the installation service we had on Wednesday. The two men from your company who came to fit our screen, sound system and data projector were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they carried out their work with courtesy and good humour.
Many thanks indeed.

Alison Bailes (Headteacher) - Roade Primary School

"Your engineers really impressed us"

I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thanks for the swift and efficient installation of our new SmartBoard. It gives the room a wonderful wow-factor and your engineers really impressed us with their dedication to doing their job well. They made sure everything was how we wanted it at the end of the fitting and also offered a training session, which was really useful. Please pass on mine and Rebecca's thanks.
I hope we will be able to do business again soon!

"...the wonderful visualiser you provided for us"

Mrs Helen Morgans from St Mary's CP School in Evesham comments on the Visualiser she purchased from Accurate AV.
What area of learning did you intend to have impact on? Numeracy, Art, Literacy, general use, D.T.. Music
What did you do? Looked at work book questions, maps of the school, To demonstrate intricate Art work to the whole class using different media, Looking at and improving pieces of work, looking at worksheets (save photocopying), Looking closely at pneumatic systems, reading song words.
Did the visualiser have any impact? How do you know? Yes. The children had a much better understanding of tasks and what was expected of them. It also has an impact on the amount of photocopying needed in the class, as children can refer to one sheet shown on the board.
How will you disseminate this? The visualiser will now be used regularly in lessons and I hope that the children will have more opportunities to use the visualiser themselves.

Mr Lee Austin from Parkgate Primary School in Coventry comments on the Visualiser he purchased from Accurate AV.
What area of learning did you intend to have impact on? Literacy, Science, Maths.
What did you do? Looked at samples of childrens work to discuss strengths, areas of improvement, diff vocabulary etc. Used in Science for microbes investigation. Maths to spot mistakes in calculation.
Did the visualiser have any impact? How do you know? Yes the children benefited from seeing their work displayed on the whiteboard rather than copied & handed out - spotted areas for improvement easily. Allowed us to see the mould growth as a whole class & draw conclusion.
How will you disseminate this? Discussions with teachers & movement of visualiser into different classes, possible option of investing in more if budget allows!

Lisa Montandon from St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Worcestershire comments on the visualiser she purchased from Accurate AV.
What area of learning did you intend to have impact on?
Cross curricular, art/ numeracy/ D&T
What did you do?
The children were working on pattern and shape. Initially we discussed 2d shapes with me holding them up at the front of the class – not easy to see for the children. I then put them under the visualiser. Children were able to come to the interactive board and draw angles in the shapes, count sides etc. This was repeated with various shapes. Next step, tessellation – children came up and showed under the visualiser how to tessellate different shapes – differentiation – different shapes to tessellate. Led to lots of discussion. Other children were able to come to the whiteboard to point out things they thought were good about each others tessellating patterns. The children then had to make their patterns into patchwork, to complement our WW2 “make  do and mend” theme. Trying to show a whole class how to sew without the visualiser would have been very difficult. I was also able to leave images on the board step by step to enable them further.
Did the visualiser have any impact? How do you know?
Having the children able to see the shapes enlarged was useful, previously they have struggled to see or if I have given out the shape in advance so they could see, been tempted to fiddle with them. Being able to share tessellations under the visualiser gave the Less Able children a lot of reinforcement and encouragement. Without the visulaliser the sewing activity would have been very difficult for the children to see, and would have needed a lot more adults in the room to support the process.
How will you disseminate this?
We have talked about the use of the visualisers at staff meetings.

Mrs Haines from Millfields First School in Worcestershire comments on the visualiser she purchased from Accurate AV.
What area of learning did you intend to have impact on?
CLL and Arts week
What did you do?
Our text of the week was Handa’s Surprise we placed the book under the visualiser and this allowed the children to take part in a group reading task as the text was visible to all.  We used the visualisers capture tool to take an image of each picture and then asked the children to sequence the pictures and retell the story in their own words. With the text placed under the visualiser we were also able to cover up certain details for the children to recall from memory.
Did the visualiser have any impact? How do you know?
The greatest impact the visualiser has had on me is that it reduces the amount of resources I have to prepare and collect saving myself precious time and money!!! For example I only needed one piece of each fruit rather than a set for each table.
The fact that any book can be used as a big book allows be greater flexibility in the texts I can use with my class.
Displaying the children’s work under the visualiser gave them a great deal of satisfaction and was also a valuable self assessment tool.
How will you disseminate this?
Currently we only have one visualiser and from a practical point of view it is easier to keep it in one location. Luckily for me it will be my classroom. However all teachers are encouraged to use the visualiser to create resources for their lessons as it is quick and easy to use. Teachers are already capturing copies of children’s writing to allow for peer assessment. In an ideal world every class should have a visualiser of this quality.

Gareth Williams at Hanbury C of E First School in Bromsgrove comments on the visualiser he purchased from Accuate AV.
What area of learning did you intend to have impact on?
Engagement with whole-class texts.
What did you do?
The visualiser was used to display a variety of texts to which the children do not normally have whole-class access, for example, small texts, fragile books &c. It was possible to display the small texts in high-quality, high-detail on the whiteboard and select parts of the text for inclusion in Smart Notebook software.
Did the visualiser have any impact? How do you know?
The children were able to see and share texts in a way that would not normally have been possible. They were engaged throughout, which achieved my objective.
How will you disseminate this?
I intend to explain how the unit works in a staff meeting in the near future. Of course, that may mean that the visualiser will spend less time in Year 4. Do I have to tell the others, I wonder…?

Gareth Williams - Hanbury C of E First School

"thank you for taking the time..."

Dear Mike,
I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to come and give me some additional training today.
After my first training session I felt a bit lost as there was so much to remember! I really appreciated the fact that if there was anything you were not 100% sure of, you said you would find out and get back to me, rather than trying to make something up that didn’t work.
A good working relationship can only be successful if everyone is honest.
Thank you, also, for asking Nick to send over the guide, which I hope will be
a good reference for me. If I have any further difficulties I will give you a call.

"Sales and installation team have been excellent"

During the past 3 years, we have asked Accurate AV to supply and install a wide range of audio visual equipment. Their sales and installation team have been excellent and as a result we have used them to supply the college with projectors, interactive whiteboards, visualisers, sound systems and a digital signage system.  The experience and product knowledge shown by the sales team has meant that the college has always been given sound advice and during our relationship with Accurate all work has been completed on time and to a high standard.  I would therefore not hesitate to recommend them to any educational organisation.

Jon Platt - St Josephs College, Stoke-on-Trent

"Accurate AV made this possible"

As a pioneer of useful and practical technology we were looking for a teaching solution that would enable the drama studio to work without the use of a standard projector and found just the answer in the new CleverLCD touch screen. This enabled teaching to take place close to the screen without shadow and for the class to no longer rely upon the variable quality of image from a projector and the ongoing costs of the bulbs. We now have a reliable and neat solution that enables a much higher quality image as well as teacher and pupil working together on the board in collaboration and we feel that this represents the future in classroom teaching, Accurate AV made this possible.

John Hughes (Headteacher) - Padiham Primary School

"We have been dealing with Accurate for about ten years

We have been dealing with Accurate for about ten years now and have continually found the staff to be extremely helpful and considerate. The products that we have purchased from the company are reliable and easy to use, we are still using projectors that are over five years old! Installation is always carried out with efficiency and at a time that suits and the staff that deal with customer service or queries we may have are always polite and try to answer all questions and requests.
Our area account manager always gives us the best advice taking into consideration the diverse needs of our pupils and staff. He always gives his time generously even when he comes just to give a quote and gets asked a thousand and one questions while on site.

Sharon Hannah (ICT Co-ordinator) - Beanfield Infant School

"As always everything has gone like clockwork ..."

I just wanted to email you to pass on my grateful thanks to you all for your help with the installations that have just taken place. As always everything has gone like clockwork and all of the hard work that you all do in the background makes my job so easy - and for that I thank you.

I have also thanked Glenn and his team for all of their hard work as they are so efficient that I don't know that they are here.

You are all a credit to each other in the way that you all work and I would have no hesitation in using/recommending you again.
